Use of MyRaceEntries system is bound by the following Terms & Conditions. By using this system to register your details, enter an event or apply for a membership you consent to the conditions described below.
You must be at least 18 years old to use MyRaceEntries system. You may only use the system for registering your own details and for those of other friends, family and club mates who have granted you their permission to do so. If registering a person under 18 years of age you must obtain permission from the parent or legal guardian of the person you are registering.
When entering an event we ask for each person’s name, date of birth, gender and for any other details required by the event. When entering events on behalf of other people you must obtain their permission to provide MyRaceEntries system with this data before entering them. You must also ensure that they have been made aware of and read any event disclaimer displayed on MyRaceEntries system and that they have agreed that you can accept it on their behalf.
To register for MyRaceEntries entries system you must provide a valid email address so we can send you confirmation of your registration and of any entries you make. If you have a Spam Filter enabled for your email account please make sure that our domain name of @myraceentries.co.uk is set as a valid sender so that these emails do not get blocked.
The email address supplied (and any email addresses given when registering other people) are being collected on behalf of the event organiser, the details may be used by the Event Organiser to send out additional information, marketing or promotional material about the events you enter. It may also be used by them for up to twelve months after the event ends to send follow-up information about the event and marketing or promotional material for other events, or services they provide.
All transactions will be conducted in Pounds Sterling. An invoice will not be supplied with the confirmation of your entry, although a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email address.
The law allows you to cancel many online purchases up to seven working days after you made the transaction - unless the service you have paid for has begun within this time. If you will be entering an event, you should note that because we will provide your details to the Event Organiser immediately, the service will be considered to have begun, and you will no longer have the right to cancel. If you do not wish to waive your seven working days cancellation right in this way, you should not proceed with your entry via this website.
For some events you will be able to make a voluntary donation to a charity or other cause supported by the event. If you choose to make a donation MyRaceEntries entries system will retain a portion of the amount donated to cover the credit / debit card handling fee and administration costs. The remainder of the donation will be passed onto the Event Organiser for them to distribute to the charity or other cause. MyRaceEntries system takes no responsibility for overseeing the distribution of any donations made - this is solely the responsibility of the Event Organiser. Once you have made a voluntary donation it will not be possible to come back to MyRaceEntries system and lower or remove the donated amount as it may have already been passed onto the Event Organiser.
The personal data and entry specific information you give will be used by both MyRaceEntries system and the Event Organisers for the purpose of processing and publishing entries and results.
